Topic channel fields#
Topic card on content pages and lists gives preference to the Topic icon (if set) over the Topic featured image (if set). See it live on this network.

We strongly recommend setting BOTH the icon and the featured image.
Topic icon
Every topic channel may have a square icon image. It is displayed on channel cards.
Since the square logo is rendered small, it is highly recommended that the icon not have any needless whitespace around.
Topic featured image
Every topic channel may have a featured image in a 2:1 aspect ratio. It is displayed on channel cards and also for link previews and SEO. It is optional but recommended.
Topic name
This is the topic channel name. Keep it short and unambiguous. No special characters. This field is required.
Slug text
The text should be similar to the title of the channel and is used to generate the slug. Note that if you change the slug, the URL of this channel will change. This field is required.
Any text entered into this field will get converted into the slug string after cleanup. The final slug in user is shown.
Channel short description
This is where you can add a line or two as the short description of this topic channel. This helps the viewer know what this channel is about and removed ambiguity. This field is required.
Channel long description
The channel long description field shows a longer description of the channel to the user when the channel info card is expanded. This field may be used to explain in detail what the channel is about, and whether there are any special rules for posting into this channel. It can accommodate a max of 800 characters.
The Save Channel Details button will not get enabled until required fields are filled out.
Organization channel fields#
Org logo
Every organization channel may have a logo image. This image is shown on the channel, and is also used for link previews and SEO. It is optional but highly recommended.
Channel cover image
Every organization channel may have a cover image. This image is shown on the channel. It is optional.
Org name
This is the organization channel name. Keep it short and unambiguous. No special characters. This field is required.
Slug text
The text should be similar to the title of the channel and is used to generate the slug. Note that if you change the slug, the URL of this channel will change. This field is required.

Acronym
The acronym for the organization should be as short as possible and in upper case. 3 or 4 letter acronyms are preferred.
Organization type
It is essential to declare the organization type correctly. If you would like to get a new organization type added, please contact us.
Type of business
The type of business provides additional information for users. Eg "Online pharmacy", "Fact checker", "Internet consultancy". This field is optional.
Tag line or info
Your organization's tagline, short bio, etc. This field is optional.

Persona channel fields#
Persona image
The persona image is displayed on channel cards. It is also used for link previews and SEO. It is optional but highly recommended.
Channel cover image
Every persona channel may have a cover image. This image is shown on the channel. It is optional.
Persona type
It is essential to declare the persona type correctly. If you would like to get a new persona type added, please contact us.
In the future, the channel template will change based on the persona type.
Other fields
Persona name, slug text, designation & contact details are self-explanatory.
