Links#

Any link dropped into the editor is automatically linkified. Eg this link: https://www.maincross.net/help. That's the quick and dirty method.

However we support sophisticated link handling:

1. Select and make some text into a link, either by the keyboard shortcut <Cntrl + K> or using the Link button on the toolbar
2. Links can be internal, with an optional anchor tag - the system will automatically detect and handle each each type
3. External links are always opened in a new window. Like this external link which should open a Wikipedia page.
4. Internal links (ie from the same domain) have a choice to open in the same window or external. Like this internal link. Clicking on the link will open in this window, while clicking on the "Open external" icon will open in a new window!
5. Anchor links can be created to any Heading on a page.
6. Example 1 - This anchor link will scroll to a heading on this page.
7. Example 2 - This anchor link will directly open a heading ("SEO and link previews") on another page.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
