Member badges

An extensible scheme of badges allow multiple badges to be earned or assigned per member, per network - all of which are discoverable on the member's profile

A member's profile can have multiple badges - either earned or assigned.

  1. Network badges
  2. These are assigned by each Network Site the member is part of
  3. Networks can have role-based badges or non-role based badges and the Network Heroes are responsible for assigning 1 network badge per member
  4. These are shown with a star icon
  5. MainCross badges
  6. These are assigned by MainCross staff and are reserved for public figures or public organizations
  7. Score badges
  8. These are automatically earned using a point based ladder scheme: Explorer > Member > Supporter > Enthusiast > Influencer > Celebrity > Superstar. These are based on points earned across the entire MainCross network.
  9. Account status
  10. Pro accounts are shown with the Pro badge
  11. Verified accounts are shown with the Verified badge
