The Question Post type can be used to do a QnA style discussion, or to solicit answers from other members in the community.
The Question post can be edited as desired after creation anytime. However it is not recommended to change the question once answers have been received.
The facility to edit a question once answers are received may be disabled in the future.
The Question post type is similar to the Update Post type, except without the ability to have an embed. A distraction-free question is presented to community members who can then answer the question if they like.
