Embedding posts#
Any post from any MainCross Network site can be embedded into any website instantly. All embeds are fully responsive and will automagically grow or shrink depending on the size of the container, or the screen.
Its really easy and can be done with zero technical know-how. Set it up in just 2 simple steps:
- Navigate to the post and take the embed code directly from the post itself. Click on the overflow menu and select the Embed this content menu item.
- You will see a dialog appear with the code. The code is already encoded with your referral code in it to help you track signups.
- Copy and paste this code into your web page in the place where you want the post to appear. It will seamlessly become part of your site.
- Click on the Preview embed button to see it live even before trying it on your website!
Interactive vs non-interactive
Conversation derived posts (Update, Event, Form, etc) and Poll posts are interactive by design. However one may choose not to allow interaction and instead display a simple card which links to the original content.

Embedding Events posts#
Any Event Post can be embedded on any website as explained above. In order to save space, the verbose event details are folded into the section "About this event", while the important event details and the interactive registration are shown prominently.
Embedding Surveys, Quizzes & Poll posts#
Any Poll or Survey or Quiz Post can be embedded on any website to collect user inputs and feedback. One can see instant results and beautiful visualization of the results.
Copy the embed code and drop it anywhere in your website. Your website visitors can directly interact with the survey without having to leave your site. In order to save space, the verbose survey details are folded into the section "About this survey", while the important survey details and the interactivity are shown prominently.

Embedding Article posts#
Embedding of Article posts work differently from other post types - Articles cannot be embedded in their entirety. They can either be embedded as a simple card, or only the comments from an Article post can be dropped in as an interactive block.
Embedding feeds#
Embedding user feed
Any user feed can be embedded on any website simply by copying the embed code from the user profile page via the overflow menu.
Embedding custom feeds
This feature is available only for Network Heroes. Open the Custom Feed creator on the Pro Dashboard and generate the embed code from there.
