ChannelPulse™#
The MainCross ChannelPulse is a measure of the activity on each channel, and is one of the ways in which the Network's channels are presented to the user.
Its a weighted algorithm that accounts for various activities that have occurred on the channel, further weighted by recency:
- Widget interactions (sentiments, ratings , etc) on the channel
- Channel subscribers
- Content posted
- Votes received on all the Poll post on the channel (if any)
- Standalone channel loads
- Bundled channel load, i.e. loaded on a content page or an embed etc
- Handicap
- ...
Every time the algorithm is run, a score per channel is calculated and the channel order is changed accordingly.
The ChannelPulse is shown along with a snapshot of the latest channel vital stats. Additionally, paid MainCross plans have access to detailed historical analytics per channel, across multiple parameters, from the time the channel has been created.
NetworkPulse™#
A single score that is the sum of all the ChannelPulse scores on each network. Also takes into account the number of Network Members and visitors.
The NetworkPulse is shown along with a snapshot of the latest network vital stats. Additionally, paid MainCross plans have access to detailed historical analytics calculated for the entire Network, across multiple parameters, from the time the Network has been created.
MemberPulse™#
The MainCross MemberPulse is a measure of the overall reputation of each member on the network.
