Question: Is there a way to invoke a channel from within an iframe, such that it doesn't open a recursive network instance?

Well we have already defined the protocol for the iframe to send parts of the url (currentHash, currentSearch) to the parent. We will have to extend the same scheme to send the relative URL in a new key called currentURL, and then the updateURL command can be used to switch to switch the route to /org/xyz etc (aka "invoke a channel"). Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

(Not 100% sure this will work - need to make the changes and then test and see.)
