Important destinations (system routes) and URL structure

All Network Sites that operate in the Managed mode have the following destinations (system routes). Some of these destinations are optional.

All Network Sites that operate in the Managed mode have the following destinations (system routes). Some of these destinations are optional.

Network Sites that operate in the Headless mode can define any destinations and URL structures as desired.

Home (/home)#

This is the starting point of the Network Site. The Home destination can either show the default destination, or your (static) landing page.

  1. Default destination - By default, at launch, the Network destination is mapped to the Home destination.
  2. You may create a custom Featured Page using the superb Page Builder and use that as your Home destination. Once created, your custom page can be set as the Home destination.

Network (/network)#

The Network destination displays the network feed, channels, landing carousel etc.

Important pages#

Terms of Service (/tos)

The Terms of Service destination displays the General or Featured Page that you have created with the details (legalese, etc) of your Network's Terms of Service. Terms of service are regulations that govern the use of this network site by end users.

Privacy Policy (/privacy)

The Privacy destination displays the General or Featured Page that you have created with the details (legalese, etc) of your Network's Privacy Policy and information. A privacy policy explains how this service will collect, store, protect, and utilize personal information provided by its users.

About (/about)

The About destination displays the General or Featured Page that you have created with any general information that describes what your Network is about. The About us is an essential source of information for all & is ranked highly by search engines.

Channels (/channels)

The Channels destination shows all the channels on the Network. It has multiple tabs for Topics, Organizations and Personas.

Topics (/topics)#

The Topics destination shows all the Topic channels on the Network, ranked according to ChannelPulse.

Organizations (/orgs)#

The Organizations destination shows all the Organization channels on the Network, ranked according to ChannelPulse.

Personas (/personas)#

The Personas destination shows all the Persona channels on the Network, ranked according to ChannelPulse.

Hashtags (/hashtags)#

The Hashtags destination shows all the trending hashtags on the Network.

Custom feed (/feed)#

The Feed destination shows a custom feed.

Contact (/contact)#

The Contact destination can either show the default page, or your custom page. The Contact page is a useful tool for communication, customer service, and can even support sales efforts.

  1. Default page - A comprehensive default contact page is already available on every Network Site at this destination. Unless really necessary, we suggest not overriding it with a custom contact page.
  2. Custom page - You may create a custom General or Featured Page with information on how to contact the network operator. Once created, your custom page can be mapped to the /contact destination.

Events (/events)#

The Events destination shows a reverse chronological list of all Event posts.

Marketplace (/marketplace)#

If the Network Site has been configured for e-commerce, then the Marketplace destination is also available.

Members (/members)#

If the Network Site has been configured as a role-based network, then the Members destination is also available.

Messaging (/messaging)#

If Conversational Chat has been enabled on this Network Site then this destination is the messaging center.

Directory Service (/directory-service)#
