I'm quite delighted to talk about our latest feature - delivery of Article posts to a member's subscribers. #NotifySubscribers
In addition to the existing mechanisms of discovery and distribution of posts in the home and channel feeds, we now have a new distribution channel - via push notifications whenever an author publishes a story. This has been a long time ask from writers using the MainCross system to publish longer stories and detailed articles.
We have a number of post types, and among these, the Article post type is the most comprehensive and allows for long form rich content to be posted - complete with images, tables, video, embeds etc.
Any member or even non registered users can instantly subscribe to an author's article posts.
Once an author has finished writing their story, and edited it for the umpteen time 😁 and is finally happy with the outcome, they can choose to deliver it to their subscribers. The subscribers are notified via their chosen mode (Email, Telegram, app notification, etc) that the author has published a new story, and they can click through and come to the site to view the story (and even interact with the story!).

What's next?
This feature is currently in beta and the following upgrades are coming soon for Pro members:
- View analytics on the notifications - how many opens, engagements etc
- Importing an existing list from another source
- List management and segmentation
This is also the first step towards a large feature that is being planned out - digest emails to be sent with the latest / curated posts to all community members who have opted in.
We'd love to hear from you about how you on this feature should develop further, is it useful, what more would you like done as part of the feature etc. Hit us up in the comments below.
