Event communication flow seems to be non-existent if we choose to leverage having people sign up for in-person or online events through maincross
At minimum what SMS reminders and email template flow can be activated when someone signs up -- we are supposed to have an online event in Mid-January and I am not seeing a flow that can be activated for reminders that combine email and sms--
please advise on how you all can address this as people are used to reminders up to the day of and it will hinder attendance. Obviously, having people sign-up from the platform removes the step of having to then post event get them into the platform to sign-up for the free layer

Please note that event communication flows are already there. When a member registers for an Event, they are notified about their registration. And at the same time, the event creator is also notified.
Post registration, the member can add the event to their calendar (see https://www.maincross.net/help/event-post-type#adding-event-to-calendar), and their device will give them the reminders they need. This is the elegant method that puts people in control.
We have consciously chosen not to send further reminders.
Having said this, we will explore the possibility of manual / automated reminders being sent out for Events.
In general, notifications go out based on how a member has signed up and/or what they have enabled/disabled - Email, Telegram or SMS. Additionally, phone signup, ie via SMS, is a paid add-on on all plans (CS4 product code).
