How can we showcase specific products on the homepage?

We will be listing 50+ products on our site. The product listing tools are good, but we are not clear on the product display on the site.

Is there a way to highlight a select few products on the homepage? Can there be a trending product showcase section - something to show most viewed products? Can we have enquire button on each listed product?

For "trending products", we think it should be a showcase selected by us as well.

We will take into consideration current and future stock, what products are doing good business and what kind of products are also getting social media traction and getting queries on social media, site and offline.

We will get some information for this from the query forms we will add on the site, but can we also see how many times each product has been viewed?

We made a bit of a mistake in this answer (https://www.maincross.net/p/how-can-we-showcase-specific-products-on-the-homepage-rnp8nt55pa7gqnm) where we said:

We request you to ask this "Can we have enquire button on each listed product?" as a separate Q since its a different topic and a different discussion altogether.

It should have been: We request you to add this "Can we have enquire button on each listed product?" as an Issue since its a feature request and needs to be tracked accordingly.

We've converted your Question into an Issue: https://www.maincross.net/p/can-we-have-an-enquire-button-on-each-listed-product-967ids7kxl146pz

but can we also see how many times each product has been viewed?

Please add this as an Issue in this support channel, so it can be tracked as a feature request. Thank you.

We will take into consideration current and future stock, what products are doing good business and what kind of products are also getting social media traction and getting queries on social media, site and offline.

This is good information, thank you. We'll use this as input into developing the ranking algorithm for such a "trending products" section.

However, one may note that some of these signals are off site (eg social media traction) and hence we'll have a synthetic weight parameter per product that the operator can control in order to push some products to higher ranking.

Thank you for that detailed response. We will try this approach.
