Is there a way to highlight a select few products on the homepage?

Can there be a trending product showcase section - something to show most viewed products?

Yes, we will have such a section, but it will be based on actual sales, NOT based on most viewed. "Most viewed" is a self-serving metric, if one were to feature products based on views - those would be opened by visitors, thus adding more views and those products would always be in the trending section.

Thus trending sections should be created based on active curation by the network operator by defining a dynamic collection as mentioned above.

Having said this, we are happy to hear any other ideas you may have for how one should include products in such a trending section.
