Major updates
- Events v2- Events are getting more love with a massive upgrade - new flows, new UX and refreshed UI. Read more here.
- Events can now be ticketed - free, or paid
- Members can register for free #events
- Member can pay and register for paid events
- At the moment, #Payments is currently enabled only in India with Razorpay
- API keys can be enabled in the Hero Dashboard
- General or Help Pages slug can now be edited. Featured Page slug editing was enabled earlier already.
Minor updates
- Members can see their current subscribe status on each article page, and instantly unsubscribe from the author if desired
- Link post type has been fully deprecated
- An "Explore more channels" card is shown on content pages
UI changes
- Changing of Display name has been moved into Edit Profile from Settings, to be in sync with other profile fields like Display picture, Short bio etc
- All login / onboarding pages have refreshed UI
Issues fixed
- Under Edit Profile - the website field would sometimes lose its value when the short bio field value was deleted
- An underlying library bug turned the background blank (instead of white) when transparent pngs were converted to jpegs
