Updates
- Using a phone number for creating an account has been released in beta. This feature is available only on certain specialized networks and will not be released on all networks. Phone based signup is in addition to the methods supported: email, Google, Facebook and Telegram.
- Part 1 of #GhostPost feature has been released in beta. Ghost posts 👻 are invisible posts, not discoverable in feed or search. They can only be viewed using the URL. Part 2 will allow a post password to be set for additional privacy.
- #DelegatedPublishing is now available for all, rather than only Heroes. Read more in the help article.
- Channels can now be searched for on the /channels destination.
- In addition to the channel search, filtering tags have been added in Channels dashboard > Manage channels
- The UX for reset password flow has been enhanced. Either email or username can now be used to reset password.
UI changes
- The Explore more channels card in the feed now shows upto 20 channels.
- Pull-to-refresh on all networks has been disabled to prevent inadvertent reload of the site.
- Changes for Installable Webapp (MCiW)
- If the MCiW is non-mobile (ie tablet or laptop etc), then a back button is displayed to the left of the Extended Menu to allow back navigation.
- Since iPhones (unlike Android) don't sport a navigation bar, the Network Site's bottom navigation bar displays a back button to allow back navigation.
